About
Hello! I am an artist specialising in original landscape paintings and drawings. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, I grew up with a love for art and any chance to be creative. After school and university, I drifted away from this passion and struggled to get back into it. Over recent years I’ve started to pursue art more consciously, after searching for a creative outlet led to rediscovering my love for painting. One book that helped me get back into creating is Rick Rubin’s “The Creative Act” – highly recommend this!
I love to create art based on places I’ve been or see in my daily life, and have evolved to capturing small delights in daily life. I really enjoy painting landscapes, particularly ones from my travels as it’s a great way to relive the memories! I also love exploring a range of vibrant colours. In fact, that’s one of the best parts of painting – choosing all the colours!
While I have dabbled in casual art classes here and there, I am a self-taught artist and find time to practice alongside my full-time job.

I’m inspired by nature and love to recreate some of the incredible places I have been lucky to visit all over the world, and also right here in Australia. I love both realism and abstract styles of art and am influenced by the variety of what today’s artists create. Whether that’s art I can appreciate the talent and skill put into it, or simply something that I enjoy looking at.
My subject matter consists mostly of colourful landscapes using acrylic or oil paint, or portraits using graphite pencil. For landscapes, I love to paint the places that I feel a strong connection to, or to capture a simple moment of time that would otherwise have been overlooked. For portraits, I draw anything where the focus is more on the detail and shading as I enjoy bringing that to life.
